This year, Ramona’s Way is celebrating its 15th year anniversary of providing services to abused women affected by substance abuse. A key goal of the organization is highlighting the correlation between domestic violence and substance abuse.
Thank you for supporting us in our goal of empowering women to transform themselves from victims to thriving survivors.
It is with deep heartfelt sadness that Ramona’s Way has to announce the passing of our founder, Ali-Sha Allerman’s mother, Ramona T. Gillard, who was the inspiration for founding Ramona’s Way.
It is because of Ramona’s courage and strength that inspired Alisha to motivate and empower those dealing with domestic violence and substance abuse. For each of the woman that have received services through the organization since 2002, they are an ongoing testament to Ramona’s strength and for her story to impact so many lives. She will be greatly missed.
But, her inspiration will always continue in those women who took a stand, for their children who no longer had to fear for their mother’s safety and health and for those that continue to help victims become survivors each day.
